Disclosure: I own the Garmin Forerunner 230, so that's where my head's at. I looked at all three of these watches when making my decision as well, and it was made easier by the fact that I already had a chest HR monitor from my previous Forerunner 410. Basically, they 230 and the 235 are the same watch except for the built in HR monitor on the 235. My forerunner is showing that it is 3:45 pm on Tuesday the 15th. This has happened before and lasted a day or two and then "caught" up to the normal time. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to fix it. Things I have tried: Turned the watch on and off multiple times. Disabled automatic time and then reenabled it - cycling the watch on and Displays phone notifications and messages on your Forerunner 230/235 device. Weather updates Hi, Today I've faced an issue in my garmin forerunner 235, after getting GPS signal and select my workout under the calendar, I couldn't start the activity, every time I clicked the start nothing happened. I couldn't even turn off the watch, it was really annoying, in workaround I had to reset the settings of my watch to restart it. I know there have been a number of questions about the Forerunner 235 heart rate accuracy, but my sense is that these are mostly about absolute precision. So, apologies if I have missed this somewhere here (I plead the defence of being new to the forums) but I have a question about the entire reliability of the HRM in my Forerunner. But the screen upgrade comes with a price hike. The Forerunner 265 costs £430 ($450/A$769), making it £80 more than its excellent LCD-equipped sibling, the Forerunner 255 Music. OLED screens EyVE. After update to SW 8.20, my fathers forerunner 235 lost possibility to change language to any other than english (this one seems to be build-in). There is no other option to choose on the device. Language changes done through garmin connect doesn't make any result. The Forerunner device starts broadcasting your heart rate data, and appears. NOTE: You can view only the heart rate page while broadcasting heart rate data. 4. Pair your Forerunner device with your Garmin ANT+ ® compatible device. Hi, I'd like to known if it's possible to replace Forerunner 235 battery. I'm planning to buy a unit but this question is a crucial point. 300€ for a device and after (maybe) 1 year you need do buy new one ??? I just got my 235 that is going to replace my TomTom cardio music watch. I wanted to compare the two while I had both so I've done two workouts with both on, and I can say that the 235 is the more consistent hrm with fewer outliers. I had the vivoactive prior to the tomtom and I'm excited about this watch so far. For me i'd really love to only have to charge once a week if possible. Since my 220 used smart recording (GPS) and i was fine with that, that's what i've started out using with my 235. If i have issues with pace or HR i'll switch over, but it's all good so far. So to begin with i've gone with smart recording to maximise battery life.
